MX5 Miata 1.6L top mount turbo manifold for PSR 4849G · 模型 41898
Here's my 3d model for the latest project i've been working on: a tubular manifold for my friend's NB Miata with a big 4849G Pulsar turbo. I have developed the manifold on Fusion360 using a 3d scan of the engine bay I found online, the runners are made with 42.4x2.6mm 321SS. The model includes 3d printable jigs to slide onto tubes and bends in order to cut them as closely as possible to the original project. As you might be able to see from the model the runners are not perfect, there's some misalignment but it's all manageable during the fab process. The 2nd cylinder runner is really not great, i also had a bit of trouble while fabbing it but that might be due to inaccurate cuts. It can be done tho. If you want to actually build this manifold keep in mind that there are a couple of fitment issues you'll have to address : the 2nd runner is in the way of the coolant inlet on the water pump mixing manifold, it must be modified in a similar way as the Kraken low mount kit, or anyway some aftermarket mixing manifolds are available if preferred. Also the pipe between the mixing manifold and the heater core must be modified slightly as it interfers with the 1st and 2nd runner. I'm happy to answer any questions! ;)
