This is a drum for the NASA Regolith Bucket. The external drum rotates in reverse with the inner shaft. The inner shaft collects the soil and keeps it as it rotates in one side. When the rotation inverts the inner shaft deposes the soil outside to the outer drum, and the outer drum exports the mud.
