Rectangular panels with grooves are fixed on the vertical plates of the antenna modules between the tension cables. When the modules are pulled together, the grooves of the opposite panels intersect with a gap. One of the two adhesive components in a jelly-like state is inserted into the grooves of each of the opposite panels. When tightening the antenna modules, the adhesive components intersect each other. The glue components react (probably generating heat). After curing (from several minutes to several hours), a rigid, permanent connection is formed. The reverse angle groove shape promotes bond strength. Attaching the rectangular panels to the vertical plates of the antenna modules can be done in a variety of ways (screws, rivets, etc.). The best option is a single piece. NASA knows the composition of a two-component adhesive with the necessary properties better than I do.
