»Forces On A Wedge« inspirated me for a further development of my previous version, regarding the same principle for the fastening on the handrail. A wedge is used for the clamping force application between the plane surfaces of the handrail profile only. The wedge assembling direction is along the length of the handrail, respective in sliding direction of the clamp itself, on one side of the handrail profile. The additional adjustment screw is an option, for a final fixation of the wedge position. Alternative it is possible to screw-in a handle pin for moving the wedge in locking/ unlocking position. This design concept is not tested yet by 3D-Printing. May be, that it does not work properly. Other design concepts seems to be much more user-friendly, but I searched for a solution, to realize a design with none radial bending features. I think, a dimension tolerance compensation for all components is relative easy, because of using a wedge only.
