An info document is included in the submission a brief overview is below: The conceptualization I have presented in the paper is to convey the idea I had for this contest. The specifics of size, shape, and material usage can all be customized to fit NASA requirements. The primary features of this concept include: 1)Redundancy of systems thru having a replaceable and configurable module system. 2)The ability to replace modules without having to open the crate itself and expose its contents. 3)A shape that maintains strength as well as has features that make it easily manipulated by robotic devices. 4)A secure locking system that can be locked and unlocked with either a robotic manipulator or by a human being with a simple unlocking tool. 5)Ability to maintain a proper temperature and air pressure. 6)A foam based securing system for keeping items in place during the rigors of space travel 7)A networked system for monitoring crates as well as allowing crates to share power and processing resources. 8)Redundant touchscreen displays for monitoring crate status as well as changing parameters. and finally, 9)Look sci-fi-y and cool!
