A wind tunnel with an interchangeable test section. The top half of the test section remains fixed while the bottom half travels on a set of rails from the setup to the testing position; from the testing position, it is lifted into a fixed position either by hydraulics or a scissor lift. A viewing area is available at a safe distance from the testing section. Furthermore, if any air escaped, it would be forced out of the bottom of the test section. With the appropriate measures in place, this is not a safety risk as any persons close to the testing setup is protected by either walls or safety glass.
