Noncontact Magnetic Electric Brake · 模型 172049
A non-contact magnetic electric brake is a braking system that slows or stops a rotating component without using physical contact between the braking parts. It works by generating a magnetic field using an electromagnet or permanent magnet. When a conductive rotating disc or rotor passes through the magnetic field, eddy currents are induced in the rotor. These currents create an opposing magnetic field that produces resistance to the rotation, thereby creating braking torque. Since there is no physical friction between the brake components, the system has very low mechanical wear and requires less maintenance. However, an eddy-current brake becomes less effective as the rotational speed approaches zero.
