Novel Dual Test Section for Wind Tunnel · 模型 101654
In this project, I design a novel test section with a reconfigurable inner and an outer section that can rapidly swap out models in a fully automated way. The proposed system is lightweight and energy efficient since only the inner section is transported. The outer section provides power and data connection for the inner section and isolates the inner section from the environment. An efficient transportation system with two conveyor belts is presented. One transports the inner sections from the work zone to the wind tunnel and the other transport the sections back to the work zone. Constructing the proposed system and integrating it into existing wind tunnels is feasible. Please read the description.pdf for details.
