Crafted in 1979 by Oregon Fine Joinery Ltd. one of the first craft groups in the Northwest. I was the founder. Black walnut from the Hood River Valley in Oregon, quartersawn cocobolo from Mexico, inlaid brass and East Indian Rosewood. The leg base is made from steam bent walnut veneers. Today the red cocobolo is a soft reddish brown color. No matter how hard rendering programs try, they can never correctly represent the true nature of wood from trees.
