Model inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci sketch: -https://www.behance.net/gallery/3875707/Da-Vincis-Flying-Machine and bird fly: -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kztP_XTEPk Printing method: FDM Printer: Prusa i3 (own build) Material: PLA 1,75mm Nozzle diameter: 0,4mm Layer height: 0,35mm Bed: 200x200 [mm] Slicing software: Slic3r Print time: about 14h (all parts) Post-processing: - no support for print - no tools or glue needed - only assembly Total parts: 98 pcs. I chose FDM for two reasons - most common and cheap technology;-) I matched parts for my printer and parameters (written earlier).It is possible that on the other printers need to be fit tolerances parts. Assembly it took me approx. 20 minutes. Because of the large number of parts I uploaded assembly instructions also. However, the model should be assembled according to the order structure in 3D model. For working mechanism check the video below.
