P40 Aluminium Sail Yacht Structural Design testing with Finite Elements analysis softwareGreetings from Bordeaux France ! Here is my design of P40 Sail Yacht aluminium Structural Framing Finite Elements testing The aluminium sail yacht is 40 ft LOA .The simulation result validates the framing does not break. The red color of the Von Mises Stress is here in this animation enhanced in order to better visualise. Today the structural design and structural simulation with computer FEA software is already mainstream current practice and therefore allows the optimisation of metal boat weight. I am quite proud to have introduced this particular procedure to the Royal National Lifeboat Institute UK department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in 2015 ANDREI ROCHIAN YACHT DESIGN@FIFTYBOATDESIGNS
