This design is a take on the conventional packing box seal commonly found on water pumps and the stern seals on many boats. This design can be installed while the shaft is in-place and thus makes installation and servicing easier. There are two variants of the plunger, one in the main assembly file (assembly concept 3 v26) and another attached called "plunger assembly v4".
