The main focus for this design was ease of portability and quick assembly/dissemble times. The board is amde of PE high density plastic supported by 6 aluminum square rods coupled with a honeycomb inner structure to support the weight of the rider and more! I decided to use a rubber latch as opposed to metallic for simplicity reasons, meaning less parts, no rust issues. Since the board is split into only 3 components, assembling times are quick and easy. There are a total of 12 parts that can be put together in less than five minutes. My SUP can dissemble and fit into a 3" x 3" 1/2 travel case. Allowing the rider to take the board anywhere, the car, bus or bike.
