This adapter would allow phones and tablets to be held securely. This design is a magnet based mount, similar to QI chargers and car mounts. It should work with existing cases and phones that have plates designed to mate with magnets. At first this attachment may seem frivolous, but our phones allow us to do many things. For example this would be great for many activities, like using a mapping program or taking pictures and video. Ideally you could have your phone in your pocket or face down on a table and as you locate the magnets near the phone it would attach itself.
