For my conveyor belt. I had fun figuring out how to do the dynamic simulation of a slack wire tightening. Tried adaptive 3D/2D sketches and sweeps but it does not refresh during simulation. Finally went with breaking up the rope into many elements which are constrained end to end. Followed by applying gravity to each element. I then reduced the number of elements to the bare minimum to stop framerate lag when recording while maintaining a realistic effect.
