A pillow block bearing (or Plummer block) is a pedestal that supports a rotating shaft using compatible bearings and various accessories. The assembly is made up of a mounting block that houses a bearing. The block is secured to a foundation, and a shaft is inserted, allowing the bearing/shaft to rotate. This design was made with the help of CATIA V5 software and dimensions were taken from the CAD-CAM TUTORIAL youtube channel.
