This mechanism is not complete and could probably be further enhanced, but I simply have run out of time :>) Besides the description, I have attached several videos and images. If you have any troubles, let me know and I can post the videos again. Anyway, the idea is that an upper container is positioned to fit a foot into two pincer arms, which are opened and closed by sliding the feet into place, and the lowered to box everything in place. This eliminates the need for anyone to be involved in operating the mechanism. The pieces are all bolt on, I didn't model any fasteners, so they can be applied to existing containers and can be easily replaced as components start to wear out. I didn't have a chance to perform any calculations, so lighter materials could be used, but currently with carbon steel, each connection (both the male and female connectors) are about 50 lbs per corner. Again, I am sure that can be refined. Sorry for the last minute entry and feel free to ask questions.
