I Designed Pitch control mechanicsm of wind turbine and manufactured it With other student . PCM was made by using mechanical system of gears , to make turbine blades inclinded at specific angle . During designing , I thought about making cheap mechanism with high quality ,which i can reach . -So, I worked by using traditional workshops instead of using CNC or laser at manufacturing -I used worm gear from old car instead of gearbox and use stepper motor nema 17 , so low power consumption and high tourqe but efficiency is low nearly 45-49 % but i will gain high torque versus power losses - We using casting process with some parts ,to save money During manufacturing process , I and my Team faced some problems and solved it as we can as ,for example some dimensions did not be accurate so instead of remanufacturing parts and spending money we modified design and continuous manufacturing process this presentation content my design if anyone want to take a look whether student like me , inspired by it or non engineer person for getting general information 🙏
