This project presents a complete Plastic Injection Mould Design developed in SolidWorks. The assembly includes the core and cavity, mold base, ejector system, guide pillars, guide bushes, sprue bush, cooling channels, and all standard mold components required for plastic injection molding. The design follows standard mold design practices with emphasis on manufacturability, assembly, maintenance, and production efficiency. Care has been taken to ensure proper parting line selection, ejection, cooling, and alignment of all components. This project demonstrates practical experience in mechanical design, mold design, 3D CAD modeling, assembly design, manufacturing drawings, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM). Feedback and suggestions from the engineering community are welcome.
