[POD] PET bottle filament Recycler · 模型 262116
This design is a customized version of the PET bottle recycler based on the MK5 Recreator, originally available at: https://www.printables.com/model/179820-recreator-3d-mk5kit-ender3-pultrusion-unit/files In this iteration, an Ender 3 3D printer is repurposed as the core mechanical platform. The system is powered using solar panels that charge two 3S Li-ion batteries connected in series, delivering a 24V DC output. This setup allows the recycler to operate independently of constant sunlight by storing energy for later use. The majority of the frame components are 3D-printable. However, for improved durability, the panel and gear components have been replaced with 5mm and 10mm acrylic, respectively. Assembly requires M4x20 screws, and an M6 screw and nut are used to hinge the hot end cover. The cover itself is fabricated from acrylic and shaped using a strip heater. The gear mechanism is designed to interface directly with a SUNLU filament spool, enabling immediate printing with recycled PET filament. Prior to use, bottles must be thoroughly cleaned, wiped with acetone, and fully dried. The nozzle can either be unscrewed or drilled to flatten the plastic strip and guide it into a 1.75mm filament form. Additional tutorials, assembly instructions, and G-code files can be found on the original Recreator project page.
