When approaching the task of being able to submit something into the Extreme Redesign Challenge, I had many ideas. I was inexperienced and had no prior knowledge of Inventor or 3-D printing but loved playing pool. I thought about an attachment to a pool cue stick that would shoot a beam of light and be able to spin and aim at any point. I wanted the user to be able to aim the light at the ball that they are trying to hit with the cue ball for complete accuracy. I had come up with one cylinder to go around the pool stick and a cylinder attached to it to go around another piece that would hold the laser. I also made a platform with many rods on top to be reference points for the user. I measured the width of a pool cue and the width of the laser that I had bought so that it wouldn’t fall off the pool stick and wouldn’t slide off the laser. The small attachment on the right holds the laser and into the hole on top of the left object. Then the pool stick will go through the hole on the bottom.With my idea I hope the revolutionize the game of pool with less estimating and more exactness.
