Designed and developed an affordable, safe, and user-friendly Portable Hygiene Assistant to empower individuals with limited mobility to perform hand and foot hygiene independently. The device addresses critical gaps in current solutions by combining portability, stability, and accessibility in a compact design—without the need for fixed plumbing and within a strict $250 budget. Our team at HTU (AquaMinds) conducted extensive market research, explored multiple design alternatives, and engineered a solution that prioritizes safety, hygiene, and ease of use. The final prototype features a pull-down adjustable sink, detachable water tanks, an electric pump, and a stable lightweight frame—creating a practical aid that restores dignity and reduces caregiver burden.
