Push Button with Integrated Spring for Tactile Switch · 模型 192431
This is a commonly used push button design in consumer appliances. The button is used to activate a tactile switch mounted on a PCB. The button is easier to press and looks better than having an exposed tactile switch and PCB. The plastic injection moulded button has special arms that act like integrated springs. These arms deflect easily, allowing the button to activate a tactile switch underneath. I have provided an assembly template to show how to implement this design, i.e how to mount the button onto an outer enclosure (grey) and sandwich it between the enclosure and PCB (green) with the tactile switch. The button model and assembly can be customised for your application. I am not sure what this button design is called. If you know what it is, please comment it below.
