This is a custom-designed quadcopter drone frame created in SolidWorks as part of my CAD practice and learning process. The design follows an X-configuration with four arms and a central mounting plate. The frame is inspired by carbon fiber drone structures and focuses on lightweight design, structural symmetry, and ease of assembly. Key features include: – Modular arm design for easy replacement – Central plate with mounting holes for flight controller and electronics – Pin-based assembly mechanism – Lightweight cut patterns for material reduction The assembly consists of multiple parts including upper plate, lower plate, arms, pins, and connectors. This project helped me improve my skills in SolidWorks assembly design, mates, and component structuring. Files included: – Full assembly (.SLDASM) – Individual parts (.SLDPRT) This design was created as part of a learning exercise inspired by an online tutorial.
