Quick coupling valve with conical seats · 模型 115227
Hello Based on a work carried out by the chair "M25 - Synthesis of Mechanisms and Machines" by Professor Ing. Marcelo Valderrey of the National University of Rosario UNR - Faculty of Exact Sciences, Engineering and Surveying FCEIA. This publication is based on the presentation of a model of a quick coupling valve Built for cryogenic fluids. This model was developed after a conceptual post-process divergent convergent of all the entries that were presented in the challenge proposed by NASA. This challenge was called "Low Leakage Cryogenic Disconnects for Fuel Transfer and Long Term Storage" https://grabcad.com/challenges/low-leakage-cryogenic-disconnects-for-fuel-transfer-and-long-term-storage In the link you can see the requirements of the challenge and its entries (38). My solution is based on a quick coupling that opens from a force produced by the surfaces that come into contact, Being conical surfaces produces a "rapid" opening similar to the valve seats of internal combustion engines. It was considered that the ships participating in the fuel transfer should be linked to each other prior to the connection. of the valves, otherwise this would cause a displacement between them. Another advantage we obtain from the use of surfaces conical is to allow us a slight misalignment between both. The seals used in the model are made of Teflon material.
