I was thinking of ordering some new toe clamps when I realized that I could make them up myself. I used 0.75 x 1 6061 stock and churned out a half dozen within a few hours. They work really well! It's nice to know that accidentally clipping one of these with an end mill won't cost me $30! I've included all the CAD files, G-code and machining notes. All you really need is the included dxf to make your own tool path. The semicircular roller on top was just manually milled and drilled from 0.5in aluminium and then cut on a band saw. This clamp should be able to hold work between around 1/8" and 1". Build, render and share!
