The vehicle is a high-performance Rally Cross car, developed around a Hayabusa engine, renowned for its outstanding power-to-weight ratio, proven reliability in racing applications, and exceptional tuning potential. The project addresses, in a practical and systematic way, all the key aspects of competition car design, including: chassis architecture and optimal mass distribution engine–transmission integration suspension kinematics for off-road and mixed-surface use structural analysis focused on maximum lightness without compromising strength a function-driven design philosophy, where every technical choice is guided by a precise and measurable purpose The CAD models are not intended as a purely stylistic exercise, but as a real construction basis, designed to be analyzed, modified, and taken directly into the workshop. This project is part of the printed edition series “How to Build Your Own Car and Win Le Mans”, a path that blends engineering culture, racing vision, and hands-on methodology, inspired by the spirit of great endurance competitions such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This Rally Cross car stands as a true technical manifesto: fewer compromises, greater engineering intelligence, more courage. An invitation to return to building cars starting from ideas, not limitations. The first step for all enthusiasts who aspire to build a real race car from scratch.
