This is my entry for the NASA RASSOR Drum Challenge. This design uses 2 Drums; one inner collecting drum and one outer 'drilling' drum. The Drilling drum has 20 digging scoops, all in different orientations. The inner drum is connected to a separate motor which enables it to shift between collect mode and dispense mode. I have included 2 animations to show it's working. Each scoop has serrations to help break down big and hard regolith. There are also grooves made to attach the motor on one end. *Total drum diameter: 450 mm *Total drum length: 360 mm *Length of one scoop: 85 mm *I was unable to get the total volume of the components in Fusion 360, but the Total Mass should not exceed 5kg if we use Tennalum 7068, an Aluminium alloy. *Total (collecting) drum volume: 32.426 litre or 32426.483 cm cube *Fill ratio: 75% +
