I grew up riding BMX. From the time my father took the training wheels off until I was in my early 20's, I loved to ride. I also had a friend who would find old 12" pneumatic tire scooters and ride them at parks. It was a lot of fun. The pneumatic tire on my design is inspired by BMX bikes and the old 12" scooters. I always thought it would be cool to combine a larger tire with a small, nimble scooter, but have it be strong. I wanted to use larger or pneumatic wheels on the rear, however it was out of the scope of this design. I feel this design is sort of a crossover between a regular Razor Scooter and BMX bike. I have brakes on it as an option. The brake cable goes through the headset so you can still do barspins and tailwhips. The baseplate is designed to have grip for shoes, and also extends to the middle for tricks. The main frame rail extends to back of the baseplate and splits so you can grind or stall on it. I feel like there could also be an optional removable plastic grind plate on the bottom. I wish I would have started it sooner, but I had a lot of fun working on this challenge.
