One of the most valuable parts of mechanical design is not the final model itself, but the iterations that lead to it. For this ring dispensing concept, I explored different approaches to solve the same basic requirement: store multiple rings and release them in a controlled and repeatable way. The first concepts considered an automatic dispensing mechanism using sensors and actuated components. Later iterations explored a simpler manual mechanism, reducing the number of components and simplifying the overall system.
