# Mech Hand V6 Mech Hand V6 is a 3D-printable robotic hand designed around a **simple, modular, and easy-to-modify linkage mechanism**. Each finger has three joints and is driven by **one SG90 micro servo**. All five fingers, including the thumb, can be actuated independently for more natural gripping and hand movement. Unlike tendon-driven hands, Mech Hand V6 uses a direct linkage mechanism. **No strings. No tendons. No springs. No bearings. No custom shafts.** The design uses very few specialized parts and is intended to be easy to print, assemble, repair, and modify. STEP files are included, so dimensions, linkage geometry, servo mounts, and other features can be modified for your own project. Some parts can also be manufactured from **2 mm aluminum sheet using a CNC machine** instead of being 3D printed. ## Features - Three-joint finger mechanism - One SG90 servo per finger - Independent control of all five fingers - Simple linkage-driven mechanism - No strings or tendons - Modular and easy to repair - STEP files included - Two joint options - Very few specialized parts required - Some parts can be CNC-machined from 2 mm aluminum sheet ## Left and Right Hand Assembly Although the download may appear to contain parts for only one hand, **both left-hand and right-hand versions can be assembled from the included models**. The same model set is designed to support both orientations, so separate left-hand and right-hand downloads are not required. ### Version A — M3 Screw Joints The finger joints use standard **M3 screws as joint shafts**. Required hardware: - SG90 micro servos ×5 - M3 × 15 mm screws ×5 - M3 × 10 mm screws ×10 - M3 × 4 mm screws ×10 - 3D-printed parts This version does not require filament to be cut into joint pins. ### Version B — Filament Joints The finger joints use standard ** 3D-printer filament as joint shafts**. Required hardware: - SG90 micro servos ×5 - M3 × 15 mm screws ×5 - filament - 3D-printed parts Cut the filament to the required lengths and insert it into the joint holes. This version reduces the number of screws required and allows the hand to be assembled using filament you already have. ## Recommended Tool - 1.8 mm drill bit If necessary, use a 1.8 mm drill bit to clean or slightly adjust the joint holes after printing. Depending on printer calibration, material, and print settings, some parts may require light sanding or minor fitting adjustments. ## Printing Not
