ROCKER BOGGIE MECHNAISM · 模型 58907
🔴I’ve been trying to create a motion study of this vehicle moving over uneven terrain, but I’ve encountered two problems: 1. When one wheel of the rocker encounters an obstacle, the wheel on the opposite side automatically lifts off the ground. I’m not sure whether this is caused by my mates or the way I’ve constrained the suspension. 2. The tie rod is rotating axially during the motion. I believe it should only move with the suspension and should not freely rotate around its own axis. If anyone has experience with rocker-bogie mechanisms or SolidWorks Motion Studies and can help me identify what I’m doing wrong, I’d really appreciate it. If you need any additional information, screenshots, assembly files, mates, or motion-study settings from my side, please let me know. I’ll be happy to provide them. The rocker-bogie system is a suspension arrangement. It was used in NASA's Mars rover Sojourner, Mars Exploration robots: Spirit & Opportunity, Curiosity, Perseverance and ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 rover Pragyan. The main purpose of design this mechanism was maintain contact between all six wheels and uneven terrain while distributing wheel loads through mechanical articulation and load averaging. The suspension geometry allows the rover to climb obstacles significantly larger than a wheel radius while limiting vehicle body motion.
