Rotary Gear Pump · 模型 70164
A rotary gear pump is a type of positive displacement pump that moves fluid by trapping it between rotating gears and the pump casing. It typically consists of two intermeshing gears—one driven and one idler—housed inside a tightly fitted chamber. As the gears rotate, fluid is drawn into the pump at the inlet, carried around the outer edges of the gears, and then forced out through the outlet under pressure. Rotary gear pumps are known for their ability to deliver a smooth, consistent flow and for handling a wide range of fluid viscosities, from thin liquids to thick, viscous substances. Because of their simple and compact design, they are reliable, efficient, and easy to maintain. They are commonly used in applications involving oils, fuels, polymers, chemicals, and food-grade liquids. These pumps perform especially well in systems that require precise flow control and steady pressure. However, due to their close internal tolerances, rotary gear pumps are best suited for clean fluids, as abrasive particles can cause wear and reduce performance.
