I have designed this pen holder in a way that the concentric balls will rotate inside each other immediately after picking up from the bed of the 3D printer. The geometric combinations and patterns you can create are endless and it can be used for a lot more than just a pen holder. If I had a 3D printer this is the first thing I would print so that I can test the abilities of the printer to make something that is an impossibility with any other manufacturing methods - and also I am always needing something to help tidy my desk! ;-)
