Rover New Wheel/Bearing Hub · 模型 263595
New wheel and hub design for our rover to improve compliance and therefore traction, as well as increasing rigidity and decreasing weight. Hub parts were Formlabs Nylon 11 Carbon Fiber, and the wheel segments were Formlabs TPU 90a, welded together using a soldering iron. Designed solely by myself, went through several iterations to adjust compliance, test bonding methods, and reduce weight.
