My pencil collection for sketching my product ideas needed a proper home. There are many existing products on the market, but they are all boring and unimaginative. Why not add some style to the simplest of appliances and make it stand out among items on the desk? The base was 3D printed in filament, but the inlay pieces were done in resin, which can handle thin, delicate pieces far better. With a little sanding and painting they look just right to make the whole product stand out when bonded together.
