S3 Aircraft Concept | SolidWorks Surface Modeling · 模型 59629
Took me a while to post again. I did this project long ago, but I got busy doing the actual stuff, so here’s an update. This S3 Aircraft concept design by Edgar Cern, I created the body of it using surfacing. It’s not really the surfacing that was challenging, but the lack of pictures, haha. I spent around 38 hours on it and realized that having only an isometric picture is really challenging. Probably because SolidWorks is more limited compared to other software when it comes to freedom in concept design, but that doesn’t mean it can’t handle the project. Either way, I believe everything will always be challenging, whether it’s SubD in other software or whatever. So I just ended up embracing the challenge. At the end of the project, it was a relief, but I also learned a lot. Still, I don’t recommend doing something without proper references. That’s why I always admire industrial designers or anyone who knows how to create stuff and make a proper 2D draft, especially hand drawn lol.
