This part is from a 1976 Saab 99 that I'm restoring. When I took the rear defrost covers off of the parcel shelf, they all broke into many pieces - nearly 50 years of sitting in the harsh sun took its toll! There are 4 of these in each car. I copied the parts directly, with no improvements made to the design. Yes, that fin in the middle is weird, and the thinner material in that area is where they all broke. I intend to have these 3D printed in Aluminum (DMLS) and then anodize them.
