This safety valve was designed and built for my 2 1/2" scale LIVE STEAM locomotive. It works quite well. This type of safety valve is called a "direct acting coil spring safety valve". It was based on a Lunkenheimer-type pop valve, which allows for adjustment of the blow-off and reseating pressures independently. I always wonder about the discrepancy between the number of Downloads and the number of Likes. Why not press the Like Button, if you Download?
