A very primitive surface body mock-up 3d model of an underground mining LHD (load haul dumper). Modelled on real-world dimensions. Also called trackless mobile machinery, or self-propelled mobile machinery. Slang terms often its called a "scoop". The low profile wheel loader is used in underground mining applications to load blast rock, hauling the rock to a loading station or dump truck, and dumping its load by means of its hydraulically operated bucket. Hence the name "LHD (L-load H-haul D-dumper)" It has no steering, but in fact relies on a hydraulically articulated system to allow the machine to manoeuvre around turns. Various shapes, sizes, models and makes exist around the world. Was bored so i decided to model one up for future detailing. Texture map, normal map and displacement maps included - PS, the textures were AI generated and manually applied to the model via uv wraps. Hope you enjoy the model.
