This project showcases a mechanical scissor lift designed using SOLIDWORKS. The system consists of multiple scissor linkages that provide stable vertical motion of the top platform, commonly used for lifting and positioning applications. Main Components : Top and base platforms Scissor link arms with pivot joints Sliding guides for smooth movement Central actuator (hydraulic or screw-type adaptable) Design Objectives: Achieve smooth and stable vertical lifting Simplify the mechanism for educational and demonstration purposes Allow flexibility for different actuation systems Software Used : SOLIDWORKS 2021 (Parts, Assembly, Rendering) About the Project: Designed as part of my mechanical engineering learning process to explore motion mechanisms and design principles.
