Screen Magnifier · 模型 181431
A SCREEN MAGNIFIER for my notebook »DELL PRECISION M6800« with a screen diagonal of 17 Inches and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel. Sometimes I have a problem to read small texts in different applications. For example: Defining resp. changing of parametric dimensions (variables) in the sketcher of my CAD application. So I had the idea, to place a fresnel lense in front of the screen, with a dfistance of 50 mm. The fresnel lense is a product in the DIN A4 format and is available on the world wide market. My design shows a possibility, to mount and remove such a fresnel lense with a minimum of effort. Four, respective eight parts could be 3D printed and used for an assembling of the fresnel lense. Before I decided to create a 3D model, I have made a simplified "prototype" of paperboard with a thickness of 2 mm. And the best is, it "works" and it fulfills my own expactations. For fastening the fresnel lense onto my prototype parts I used a double-sided adhesive tape. I hope, that my idea could help persons with similar small "deficits" like me. An interesting link to a website: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fresnel-Linse Notes: The screen and the fresnel lense are modeled as "Dummies", for showing the fastening principle only. The fresnel lense is modeled as a plane-parallel plate, without many concentric prismatic rings, and shows no magnification effect. Improvements and/ or modifications, according to your own ideas, are surely and always possible. My design is one of so many proposed solutions only. The model is available in following data formats: STEP file (.stp) of the complete assembly. STL files (.stl) of all fastening components. Native files (.prt) and (.asm) in a (.7z) folder, for users of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«
