Based on 8020 part 4115 (aluminum, about $4), this part joins two pieces of Series 10 8020 (1"x1") at a 90 deg angle. Typically four 1/4-20 1/2" screws with slide-in (or drop-in) t-nuts would be used. This part is intended for 3D printing / rapid prototyping. It won't be as strong as aluminum but enhancements were made for strength and usage: - slightly thicker than the AL version to compensate for plastic compression - gusset (could have been straight but the curve looks more attractive without much loss in strength) - slots on inside holes allows for easier attachment and decreases slide-in to slide-in interference Both the AL and this part are narrower than 1". Dimensions are 0.875" x 2". The narrowness compensates for the screw holes being slightly larger than 1/4". The part won't hang-over the edge of 8020. v3 model has XL hole and slot on one side. v4 has typical size holes and slot (same on both sides) for 1/4-20 fasteners.
