Servo Actuated 5-Petal Flower Mechanism · 模型 60315
3D-printable, servo-actuated five-petal flower designed as part of a custom Bluetooth music player. A single micro servo moves a central vertical slider, which drives five individual linkages to open and close all five petals simultaneously. The enclosure also houses the ESP32, LCD, joystick, speaker and associated electronics. In the finished project, the flower opens while music is actively playing and closes when playback stops. PARTS TO PRINT: • 1 × Base • 1 × Lid • 1 × Vertical Slider • 5 × Petal • 5 × Petal Link • 1 × Servo Link • 6 × Short Pin (7.6 mm) • 12 × Medium Pin (9.0 mm) • 2 × Long Pin (11.4 mm) ROUGH ASSEMBLY ORDER: 1. Glue/secure the lid into the top of the base. 2. Insert the vertical slider through the lid in the correct orientation. 3. Attach the five petal links to the slider using the printed pins. 4. Attach the bottom of the slider to the servo link. 5. Install the servo and connect the other end of the servo link to the servo horn. 6. Position and secure the servo once the linkage moves correctly. 7. Install the five petals, connecting each between its pivot on the lid and its corresponding petal link. 8. Check the complete linkage by slowly moving the servo through its safe range before normal operation. My assembled mechanism uses approximately 60° for fully closed and 110° for fully open. These values are specific to my build, so check your own clearances before commanding the servo through its full range. COMPONENTS USED/DESIGNED AROUND: • Servo: MG90S metal-gear micro servo • Display: 16×2 HD44780-compatible character LCD with PCF8574 I²C backpack (0x27) • Speaker: 4 Ω, 3 W speaker driver removed from a Tech1 Inflatable Bluetooth Speaker – Rubber Duck sold at Dollarama • Controller: ESP32 development board The CAD was designed around the physical components used in my build, so substitutions may require changes to mounting holes and clearances. This was built as a functional prototype, so print tolerances and pin/linkage fits may require minor adjustment depending on your printer. The complete mechanism was designed, 3D printed, assembled and tested as part of a working Bluetooth music-player project.
