Sheet metal box designed with BySoft CAM / Solidworks inspired by the helmet of a samurai. For the POC simulation I used an Xpert80/1530 machine which fits the parts size very well. The only problem I encountered was that I had a collision with the monitor for the pre bends of the hemming steps, but this machine is also available with the monitor on the side. If that is not an option I think it is possible to reduce the pre\bends to something like 55 degree and then we have no collision (pic POC4c) Also the setup I used is not perfect now since 4 setup plans for this part are way too much.
