These models are created while practicing sheet metal features of the SolidWorks. These random models are results of training from online tutorials. They are a good way to learn some intricate features that help big time to pass CSWPA - SM exam and likewise. Engineering viewpoint: After making these, I appreciate sheet metals science a lot more. So many things to learn. Flattened sheet metal designs are easier and helpful for the manufacturers to build. Certain relief cuts are always needed in a good design. PEMs, standoffs, rivets, etc. are inserted into sheet metals after the base design is cut and the bends are done, if the final product needs screws to be inserted.
