Sheetmetal cylinder rounding tool concept · 模型 205389
This is a tool design I made for rounding up the ends of rolled sheetmetal cylinders. The idea is to round the ends via tension. When a cylinder has flat spots you can tension against the inner drum. Conversely when a part has over rolls the tool can be spun 180 degrees and iron out the metal the other way. I haven't yet made this tool so can't assure it, but I think the idea is sound and will be building in the future, I'm sure and will post pics. This can be scaled to work with any size cylinder, based on material and out of roundness... Ideas always appreciated...
