This is a reverse-engineered model of a Sherline lathe tailstock. I modeled it in Alibre Design Expert 28, and I've included the native files plus STEP and Parasolid files for non-Alibre-users. Cosmetic threads are present in the Alibre native models. No threads are modeled (sorry non-Alibre-users). Also, for the ram advance leadscrew, the cosmetic threads in the Alibre files are 1/4-20 RIGHT HAND, not LEFT HAND as they should be. Call me lazy but I didn't feel like defining a custom thread in my Alibre settings just to capture the "left hand" attribute. Please note that I modeled this with calipers, radius gauges, telescoping gauges, etc...simple hand measuring tools. I did NOT check every dimension to 0.0001" precision, and I did not check across multiple tailstocks to account for manufacturing tolerances. I also did not measure the bed dovetail feature in an extremely precise way (no gauge pins or anything like that) since it's an adjustable mechanism anyway.
