This is a design proposal for a SIM handbrake that uses a load cell as the tension sensor. The structure is built from CNC-machined aluminum plates fabricated according to JLC-CNC's free specification (80×80×8 mm). Additionally, it requires standard-sized screws, mounting brackets, and 3030 aluminum extrusion profiles. It features a 45-degree longitudinal mounting orientation, allowing you to install it at the farthest end of your setup and pull the handbrake with an angled, ergonomic motion!
