Here is our submission for the NASA RASSOR Bucket Drum Design Challenge. For a detailed description of the construction, the functionality, the simulation and the manufacturing process, please have a look at the attached documentation. Furthermore, a technical drawing including all relevant connecting dimensions and a parts list is attached to the submission. Key facts: - Maximum drum diameter: 450mm - Maximum length: 364mm - Single printed bucket drum of Carbon Fibre - Overall wall thickness: 2mm - Exchangeable cutting blades made of Ti-6Al-4V - Easy, but effective design - Simulated fill ratio of about 65-70% - Fill volume of 19.3-20.73 litres/bucket drum For more information on the simulation, please feel free to contact us.
